College Preparatory English Department (CPE) The CPE Department is part of the English as a Second Language Division. Our program has been designed especially for students whose original education was completed in a language other than English. We offer credit and non-credit courses to students who are preparing for, or already taking part in, post-secondary studies. Whether you are seeking credit for English 12 in order to gain entrance to BCIT or another college or university, are seeking credit for English while already studying at another college, or are simply feeling the need to upgrade academic presentation or writing and reading skills because you have already been accepted into a graduate level program, we can help you. We also offer high level courses for those who wish to upgrade their grammar, pronunciation, writing, or speaking and listening skills for work or daily living. Finally, we can help you prepare for the CBT (computer-based) TOEFL exam and other exams such as the TOEIC and IELTS. |
